‘Canada has what the world wants’

At a recent address to the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Mark Carney noted that Canada “has what the world wants.” Indeed, we do. More specifically, rural Canada has what the world needs.

“We have the resources the world needs and the values to which others aspire. At this hinge moment in history, Canada is leading with strength – creating new opportunities for Canadian workers and investing in peace, security, and reliable global partnerships to build a safer, more resilient, and more prosperous world for all,” he said in a statement.

It’s with this in mind that the Rural Prosperity Group is focused on showcasing the strengths of rural Canada, its communities, businesses and leaders. If you have a story to share, we’d love to hear from you.
