2025 can only be described as one of change. From a federal election campaign, to a new Liberal government, to threats of U.S. annexation, a trade war and geopolitical shifts that have affected all sectors of the Canadian economy, the year has been volatile but full of resilience. 

Through it all, Canadians have demonstrated pragmatism and resolve, engaging in difficult conversations about sovereignty, affordability, and our role in a rapidly changing global landscape. While challenges remain, we are excited about what the future holds for rural Canada. 

As the year winds down, we want to extend our sincere appreciation for your continued support. We’re grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about the amazing communities and people across rural Canada and highlight the dedication, resilience and collaboration that define the region.
