Saskatchewan travel nurses say they’re owed thousands in unpaid wages by staffing agency

Travel nurses working in Saskatchewan say they are owed thousands of dollars in unpaid wages and expenses by Ontario-based staffing agency EZ Care, which they claim has stopped responding to their inquiries, CBC reported. Two nurses working at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre in Shellbrook report being owed approximately $50,000 and $20,000, respectively, prompting temporary work stoppages and concerns about staffing shortages. The Saskatchewan Health Authority says it cannot intervene in contractual disputes between the agency and its nurses and has stopped requesting new contracts through EZ Care.
