One Canadian Economy consultation extended to July 22

The government has extended the deadline for its consultations on Getting Major Projects Built in Canada and Strengthening One Canadian Economy through Trade and Transportation.

A press release noted that “the extension provides additional flexibility for stakeholders who have requested more time to contribute, helping to ensure all perspectives are heard and meaningfully considered.”

The new deadline is July 22. The government said it intends to introduce legislation this fall.
